new things

so i went to belks with my mother yesterday and got some spiffy clogs...
say hello to my new vince camutos!
then we hit up jcp and got a shiny cuff tht doesnt make me look like i have the wrists of a five year old wearing adult jewelry
(its gold, my blue shirt is throwin off the color)
... so yay!

wish this was my new years outfit...

today was a good day or an alright day considering i had to talk myself out of buying a dress that i really didn't need... i know you're thinkin you can never have too many clothes but i made a promise that i would not purchase a new dress till i wore the four tag-still-on dresses that are sitting in my closet...thas sad, right? the dress i'm aching for...

my style is kinda street and it's for new years! i wanna look FLYYYY!

one of my fave movies

woke up in the early hours of the mornin and just finished watching Powder. i have no idea why i fell in love with this movie. every time i watch it i weep like a baby. especially at the part where he gets taken up by lightning into the beyond... kay bad visuals now but wen i was little tht was like woah.

First Day at Work!

so the mall wasn't as packed as i thought it would be... besides that it was my first day and i was super excited! I was given a freelance position at the MAC makeup counter in our belks and i was super geeked. photoshoots are fun but it has always been my dream to be involved with MAC in some way besides being a customer. the employees were nice and helped me learn my way around, i gave makeovers, sold products, and this was the first actual job i had that taught me how to use the register! i was just overjoyed at everything! someone coulda vomited on the floor and i woulda been like "Yay! i'm cleanin up a customer's vomit!" ...so yeah you get the idea...pretty much my day was ....EPIC EXCITEMENT!!! i'll post a picture later of my wardrobe decision.

can i just say i love my fam...

i mean i love them regardless but our day to day hilarities just make our dynamic ...(lookin for a word)...well...awesome. why the random brady bunch moment...perfect example this morning. we go out for a walk in our neighborhood. because we live in the country some ppl think its perfectly okay to let their less than well behaved dogs out...these dogs be mean muggin' ya heard...anywayz for protective measures my dad gets his billy club casually using it as a weighted walking stick...about 15mins. into the walk, strung into some random conversation we were having he lets me and my mother know that he also has his gun....me and mother find this funny (if anyone has met my father overprotective doesn't do him justice)...but to make things even more drole my mother begins to whine over wanting to hold the billy club....at this point i had to stop walking so that i wouldnt pee myself from laughter...jus gonna say this again i REALLY love my family

but we did see a dog. needless to say there was no smacking a dog silly just petting and loves...
he was sooo cute. he was a little corgi which i LOOOVE. i coulda snatched him up and taken him home. my love for corgis all started with...reppin fo dem cowboy bebop fans, wat wat!!
