so this is the drawing that i will be putting on a shirt! (minus the signature though) i'm really pleased with how it turned out, considering me and PS don't have a good relationship lol.

new drawing!

felt like doing a cartoon self portrait. dunno if i should fill it in by hand or use photoshop...

also...came up with an idea for a graphic shirt, got a clean shirt already just have to purchase some iron on paper.
i have waaaay too many ideas in my head, so the sooner i can get this done, my brain will be happy lol.

new items to the wardrobe

you know what these three items equal put together equal?
they equal a freakin' awesome boho ensemble...yeah i said ensemble. deal!
the shoes and cuff are new all bought this week, but the top is a bit older.
i got the top the end of winter, when spring styles were fresh. i saw it as a fast sale item so i purchased it and for $22 i don't think that was too bad (even though i could have made it).

speaking of hand-made, my mom went to jo-ann's cause they were having a wonderful fabric sale and got me the prettiest sheer fabric i will have to post a picture of it. i want to make it look like this.
if i had the money, i'd get it. but i'm trying to put an art show together and that dress would take a good chunk of my venue deposit.

i'll post pictures after i make the dress. looking at it, it looks fairly simple to make.

nothing much

i really haven't had anything to post. but to make up for the slack, here is an image of my favorite rings to wear right now.

First Twist Out

i attempted my first twist out on my hair yesterday. let me say i have a massive head and VERY THICK hair! so by the time i got finished twisting 3 0f the 8 sections of hair, my hands were begging me to stop. plus in the middle of the process of rodding the ends so the twists would hold better, i ran out of cold rods and hat to go by the beauty store wit my head covered by a cap and a scarf so people couldn't see the little, bright red and yellow curlers dangling from my hair. but im happy with the turnout. in fact, my mother wants me to twist her hair...when it gets long enough.

and this was the end result!
(well kinda i slept on it a bit so it could separate a little more)


and this was my outfit for today. i would have worn heels but a couple of days ago i fell in the house and hurt my knee and foot so no heels till that problem has passed.

Thrift Finds!

i meant to post on saturday but i was dead tired so forgive. but i wanted to share my Goodwill finds...two purses totaling almost $8!

my first find was a cognac Harvé Bernard briefcase purse, which i absolutely love!

i also happened to see a Nine West chain strap purse hidden in the accessories area.

also i got the last purse a while ago but i still love it. i got it from Treasure Vintage. The owner is hella nice to. love conversing with her!
